Under the Supervision of Ain al-Arab District Administration, SSU Holds Third Community Dialogue Session in Al-Shuyukh
Under the supervision of the Ain al-Arab District Administration, the Stabilization Support Unit (SSU) organized its third community dialogue session in Al-Shuyukh Subdistrict, entitled: “The Community Liaison Committee in Al-Shuyukh: Its Roles and Tools in Governing Relations Between Residents and Government Authorities.”

The session introduced the Community Liaison Committee, comprising 15 members, and highlighted its role in strengthening communication channels between the local community and government institutions, conveying residents' needs and concerns to the relevant authorities, following up on responses, and keeping residents informed of the outcomes. It also explored the committee's role in supporting community-based service and development initiatives and participating in overseeing their implementation, thereby fostering cooperation, solidarity, and partnership between the local community and government authorities.

The session featured open and interactive discussions between committee members, representatives of the Ain al-Arab District Administration, and the Al-Shuyukh Subdistrict Security Officer. Discussions focused on key local challenges, priority community needs, and various projects planned for the coming period, within the framework of the district administration's plan to address residents' needs and strengthen their participation in setting priorities and monitoring the implementation of service interventions.
This session is part of the activities of the Stabilization Support Project in Al-Shuyukh Subdistrict, implemented by the Organization for Stability in partnership with the Furat 3 Program – Creative Associates, and funded by the U.S. Department of State. The project supports efforts to promote stability, improve public services, and strengthen local community participation in identifying needs and setting priorities.
