Specialized Training to Strengthen Humanitarian Response Capacities in Aleppo
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacities of humanitarian workers, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) organized a specialized training with the participation of the Stability Support Unit (SSU) team.

The training program covered key protection topics, focusing on community-based protection, accountability to affected populations (AAP), gender-based violence (GBV) awareness, child protection, and legal aspects, in addition to mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS).
The training was conducted at the Stability Support Unit office in Aleppo, where participants were divided into two groups to ensure continuity of services within Aq Burhan Camp in Akhtarin without interruption.


This training comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the skills of field teams and improve the quality of humanitarian response, ensuring it better meets the needs of communities in a more effective and sustainable manner.
