The Stabilization Support Unit (SSU), in coordination with the Administration of the Afrin Region, organized a community dialogue session in the city of Jindires as part of the Community Participation Project, supported by the Rishad Program and funded by the U.S. Department of State.
The session was attended by Mr. Hadi Hassano, Director of the Jindires Subdistrict, the Head of the Relations Office of the Internal Security Forces Command in Aleppo, as well as community leaders, local representatives, and civil society actors from Jindires Subdistrict.
Participants discussed key local issues and needs, particularly strengthening security and social peace, improving service provision, addressing challenges facing residents, and listening to their demands and proposals. The dialogue aimed to strengthen community participation and foster trust and cooperation between residents and institutions.
The session is part of a series of community dialogue workshops implemented by the Stabilization Support Unit across the Afrin, Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Shuyukh areas, with the aim of involving local communities in identifying their priorities and strengthening community partnerships.
