Under the patronage of Aleppo Governorate, Manbij City Council, in cooperation with the Syrian Civil Defence and with support from the Stabilization Support Unit (SSU), has launched a community tree-planting campaign in the city of Manbij, eastern rural Aleppo.
The campaign commenced at the Public Park, with the participation of the District Administration, the Social Affairs Office, the Directorate of Parks, and a number of volunteers and local residents. It is set to continue, covering several key locations across the city.
The campaign aims to expand green spaces, improve environmental conditions and the city's aesthetic appeal, promote the care and maintenance of public facilities, and strengthen community participation in environmental protection.
This initiative is being carried out in coordination with relevant local authorities, with active community involvement contributing to broader efforts to improve the city's environmental and service conditions.
