Dialogue Session on Legislative Priorities
The Syrian Community Observatory Network – Stabilization Support Unit held a dialogue session in Aleppo Governorate, focusing on legislative priorities in the current phase. The session aimed to enhance the exchange of perspectives and expertise, contributing to the development of legislative performance.
The session was moderated by Bashar Al-Hawi, where discussions focused on legislative priorities, the importance of integrating parliamentary work with community needs, and the necessity of aligning legislative priorities with the requirements of the current stage.
The session was attended by a number of elected members of the People’s Assembly, along with representatives from Aleppo Governorate, political affairs, and the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor. It also included a group of legal experts, human rights advocates, representatives of unions and associations, and civil society activists.
The session addressed several key themes, most notably:
- The role of parliamentarians and their responsibilities during this critical phase.
- Legislative priorities in light of current challenges.
- The priorities of Syrian society and ways to reflect them within the parliamentary agenda.
The session featured in-depth discussions reflecting the diversity and expertise of participants, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships between public institutions and civil society to ensure a more effective response to citizens’ needs.
