Community Dialogue Session on Administrative Reform and Transparency
The Stabilization Support Unit, in partnership with Al-Batoul Humanitarian Services Association, organized a community dialogue session in the city of Tartous under the title "Administrative Reform and Transparency".

This session represents an advanced step within the ongoing efforts to develop the outcomes of the Bridges Project. During the session, the draft paper—prepared based on the outcomes of dialogue sessions conducted across various governorates—was presented and discussed interactively with participants. The aim was to review the document, collect feedback and recommendations, and endorse its content.
The session witnessed broad participation, including representatives from the Relations Office in Tartous Governorate, political affairs representatives, civil society organizations, and community figures, in addition to academics and local activists.

Discussions focused on the importance of promoting transparency principles and improving administrative performance within public institutions. Emphasis was placed on simplifying procedures and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens, in a way that strengthens trust between society and institutions.
This session is part of the activities of the "Enhancing National Participation and Building Trust – Bridges" project, funded by the European Union, Germany, and Denmark, as part of the Peace Initiative in Syria implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The Bridges Project continues to support spaces for community dialogue and to strengthen the active participation of various segments of society in discussing national issues and shaping shared visions for reform.
