An official delegation comprising representatives from Aleppo Governorate, alongside a delegation from the Republic of Türkiye headed by the Turkish Vice President, with the participation of Mr. Bilal Erdoğan and several Turkish officials, visited the city of Aleppo to explore its cultural, heritage, and economic landscape.
The visit included a tour of the “Jarat Al Qalaa” Weekly Market, supported by the Stabilization Support Unit (SSU), one of Aleppo’s most prominent heritage markets. During the tour, the delegation viewed handicrafts, traditional works, and local products that reflect the city’s cultural identity and rich history.
The delegation also attended traditional artistic performances held within the market atmosphere, including special traditional songs and performances from Aleppo and whirling dervish dances (Sufi Whirling).
In addition, the delegation visited the shops and popular markets and met with several craftsmen and traditional artisans.
