Aleppo: Community Dialogue Session
The Stabilization Support Unit (SSU), in partnership with Al-Hadara Association and Basmeh & Zeitooneh Syria, organized a community dialogue session titled “Policies and the Legal Framework in Syria.” The session was attended by legal experts, lawyers, academics, and public affairs activists.

The session included the presentation of a draft paper prepared based on the outcomes of dialogue sessions conducted across various governorates within the project. Participants engaged in discussions to review its content and exchange perspectives and feedback on the recommendations included, contributing to refining and strengthening its final outputs.

This interactive session provided a platform for participants to share insights and expertise, fostering constructive dialogue around legal and policy-related issues in Syria, and encouraging collaborative thinking toward more effective frameworks.

The session is part of the project “Enhancing National Participation and Building Trust – Jusoor,” which aims to strengthen community engagement and build trust among different components of society through dialogue, consultation, and capacity building.

The project is funded by the European Union, Germany, and Denmark, as part of the Peace in Syria Initiative implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
