The Stabilization Support Unit (SSU), in the Ayn al-Arab area – #Kobani, organized a dialogue session in cooperation with the Ayn al-Arab Area Administration, as part of the Community Engagement Project, supported by the Al-Rashad Program and funded by the U.S. Department of State.

The session was attended by Mr. Ibrahim Muslim, Head of the Area Administration; Mr. Nour al-Din al-Baba, Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior; Mr. Majd al-Din al-Sheikh, Director of Internal Security; Mr. Farhad Shaheen, Member of the People’s Assembly; representatives of the Public Relations Office of Internal Security in Aleppo Governorate; as well as local dignitaries, community representatives, and civil society actors from the area and the city of Kobani.


The session focused on directly listening to residents’ complaints and demands, identifying the area’s key needs, and discussing priority service and livelihood issues. It also aimed to strengthen communication channels between institutions and local communities, follow up on community needs, and work toward identifying appropriate solutions.
